Snacks & Lunches
Both morning and afternoon snacks will be served by the center. The parent is responsible for providing lunch. Consult a representative about lunch and snack options. Following our license guidelines, the center will serve milk with lunch and juice or milk with snacks. PLEASE LET US KNOW OF ANY ALLERGIES YOUR CHILD MAY HAVE!!! Your child should have a lunch every day.
Naptime
The typical nap time is between 1:00 and 3:00 pm, though this can change according to the age group. Each child will receive a cot from the center, but parents are expected to supply a cot sheet, a small blanket, and an optional small pillow. Every blanket and pillow needs to be small enough to stack on your child’s cot or in their cubby. Every Friday, all pillows, blankets, and sheets are to be brought home to be cleaned and returned on Monday.
Dress Code
For children to engage in the center’s indoor and outdoor activities, they should be clothed appropriately, comfortably, and safely. In case your child’s clothes—including socks and shoes—unintentionally get wet or dirty, please keep an additional change of clothes in their cubby. In order to protect your child from sunburn, sunscreen should be supplied during the warmer months. Kindly refrain from sending your child with open-toed footwear.
Infant Rooms
We adhere to the infant schedules that the parents have filled out. Formula must be brought by parents in bottles, either ready to be refrigerated or in cans of powdered formula to store in your child’s cubby along with empty bottles. Every bottle (no glass bottles) needs to have a cap. Breast milk needs to be stored in ready-made bottles.
All baby food must also be provided by the parent. Each infant will have a crib, receiving blanket, and crib sheet provided by the center. It is important that you give your child enough diapers to last them through the day. Please ensure that your baby’s cubby has an additional change of clothes in case of mishaps. It is possible to bring in and store diaper rash cream and/or powder at the center for use as needed.
